When Life Gives You Crap – Compost It!
The purpose of composting is to develop homemade vitamins for our soil and the process of having life experiences is to develop our spiritual consciousness that will enrich our souls as much as our soil of life. Enriching our soul is simply allowing our soul to express itself through all the garbage.
In composting, we simply take “useless” waste and discards and transform them into something that is life enhancing. There is something redemptive and yes, even theological about this process. It has to do with acceptance, affirmation, transformation, and the involution and evolution of the endless cycle of Life. The fact that we can participate in this ancient art and have fun doing it is wonderfully satisfying to our spirit.
Spiritual composting is even more rewarding and life-enhancing. For when we give our "crap" energy by focusing on it in a negative way, sharing it over and over with other people, we create a smell of victimhood and helplessness. But when we deal with each experience of "crap" to the best of our human ability, then let it go through the use of our spiritual tools we find new life growing in the midst of our "crap".
Our "crap" is really our opportunity to "Create Real Abundant Prosperity" in our lives. So whenever we see or feel an experience in our lives that makes us uncomfortable, let us look for the opportunity to affirm the good that will grow from this experience, transform ourselves from ego activity to the activities of our soul, and be aware of the evolution that we are always going through in the endless cycle of Life.
"This too shall pass" is good to remember as the "crap" surfaces in our lives. Part of knowing that this too shall pass is also the knowing that there is always an opportunity to "Create Real Abundant Prosperity" present in every experience.
Connect the dots of all your experiences, the crap and the cream, and you will find a pattern that is extraordinarily beautiful. When we connect these dots consciously, we are vibrating with the energy of God that is always in the miracles found between the dots. They are truly ordinary miracles found in the rich soil of our spiritual compost.
Allow it to be so in your life, And So It Is!
Rev. Frank Kish
"When that which is God -- or that which is that which man wants to call "God" -- is being understood by man, man has to translate it into the format he understands. But this Energy -- this Source that man is giving the label of "God", cannot be quantified in anything that man understands. And as man attempts to do it, the distortions are enormous."
