The Creative Thought Center's Men's Group is dedicated to making a difference in the Haywood County community at large. The first Saturday of every month the Men of the CTC reach out to some family or non-profit organization to provide free labor to those who are in need of assistance but do not have the financial resources or physical capabilities to accomplish their project on their own. Projects involving plumbing, painting, electrical, carpentry, yard work, etc. are completed in a professional and timely manner. No fee is ever charged for the Group's labor.
All materials and products to complete any project are supplied by the recipient of the group's services. People who can and wish to can use the group's services, if they are only physically limited, by making a donation to The Creative Thought Center's New Spiritual Home Fund. Donations to the CTC to support services for people who may not be able to even afford the materials or products may be made to the CTC via PayPal.
Rev. Frank Kish who initiated the Men's Group at the CTC and the Men Making a Difference program said that both the people receiving their services and the men themselves express a great deal of appreciation and a sense of making a difference in people's lives. Single women and Seniors find these services very helpful and reliable.
The Men's Group is open to receiving projects for consideration and may be contacted through Rev. Kish at 828-246-2794 or email smokykish@aol.com. Also click here for more pictures and stories.
The Creative Thought Center is a trans-denominational spiritual community based on the teachings of Dr. Ernest Holmes, founder of Science of Mind & Spirit/Religious Science. Dr. Holmes created a spiritual philosophy of life drawn from the Truth of Oneness and Unity found in all great religions and spiritual paths.
